Light grey in colour these are the hulled seed of the sunflower. They have a mild nutty flavour. A very nutritious snack, they are also great for sprinkling in salads, stir-fries, muesli or breakfast cereals. A delightful ingredient for cooking, especially cakes, muffins and biscuits. Toasting them will bring out their flavour. These sunflower seeds are raw and have not been heat treated.
