After a long hot day working up a sweat in the hayfields, Switchel was used for Hypotonic Hydration, before they knew that electrolyte replacement was even a thing, as such Switchel is thought to be the 'Original Sports Drink'.
In the 1700's the US Congress had a punch bowl of 'dirty' Switchel (i.e. with Jamaican Rum) which was used to help lubricate the political discourse of the day, that's when they used to 'get sh#t done'!!!
Our Switchel is all natural & 'REFINED SUGAR FREE' & contains only 40kJ per can, sweetened with around 0.5g of raw honey per can.
